Refund & Cancellation Policy

Beniss Foundation is a registered charitable organization committed to transparency, accountability, and ethical governance. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how donations, event fees, and program-related payments are handled.

1.Donations

All donations made to Beniss Foundation are voluntary and are used to support our charitable objectives in accordance with applicable laws, including Sections 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

1.1 Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered only under the following circumstances:

Duplicate donation

Donation made by mistake

Technical or payment gateway error

Such requests must be made within 30 days from the date of donation and are subject to verification and approval by the Foundation.

1.2 Non-Refundable Donations

General donations are normally non-refundable.

Donations for which 80G / 12A tax exemption receipts have been issued or claimed are not eligible for refund, as per statutory requirements.

Donations already allocated or utilized for charitable programs may not be refunded.

2. Events & Programs

2.1 Cancellation by Beniss Foundation: If an event or program is cancelled by the Foundation, participants or contributors will be eligible for a full refund.

2.2 Postponement:

If an event or program is postponed, participants may choose:

A refund, or

Participation in the rescheduled event.

2.3 Sponsorships:

Event or program sponsorships are strictly non-refundable, as sponsorship funds are typically committed in advance for planning and execution.

Step 2: Verification

Beniss Foundation will review the request and may seek additional information if required.

Step 3: Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days from the date of approval.

4.Mode of Refund

Refunds will be credited only to the original payment method used.

Any bank charges or payment gateway fees, if applicable, may be deducted from the refund amount.

5.Force Majeure

Beniss Foundation shall not be responsible for cancellations, delays, or refunds caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government regulations, pandemics, strikes, or technical/system failures.

6. Policy Discretion

The decision of Beniss Foundation regarding refunds and cancellations shall be final and binding, subject to applicable laws.

7. Policy Updates

Beniss Foundation reserves the right to amend or update this policy at any time without prior notice. Updates will be effective immediately upon publication on the website.
