She was a young girl from a backward, remote area, where life was already full of struggles and limited choices. Despite poverty, she carried quiet dreams of building a better future. One tragic night, her life changed forever when she became a victim of a brutal crime. Shattered and terrified, she tried to escape that place, driven only by fear and the instinct to survive. While attempting to flee, fate struck again. In a moment of chaos and desperation, she met with a severe train accident. The injuries were devastating, and both her legs had to be amputated. The physical pain was immense, but the emotional wounds ran even deeper. Society turned its back on her, and she was left fighting not only disability but also stigma and loneliness. Just when life seemed unbearable, Beniss Foundation stepped in with compassion and support. They did not see her as a victim, but as a survivor with potential. The foundation provided her with a sewing machine and arranged training in stitching. Slowly, she learned new skills and regained confidence. Today, she earns her own living, manages her expenses, and stands strong in spirit. Her journey is one of pain, resilience, and the power of timely support.

Suman was an ordinary college student with big dreams and a heart full of hope. Every day, she travelled from her home to college, believing education would change her life. One unfortunate day, while returning from college, her journey took a tragic turn. A sudden accident changed everything. Suman suffered a severe spinal injury, and the damage to her spinal nerves was permanent. Doctors told her she would never be able to walk or stand again.
The news shattered her world. Once active and independent, Suman became confined to her home. Simple movements became difficult, and stepping outside felt impossible. Yet, even in pain and silence, she refused to give up. Determined to survive with dignity, she began studying and working from home, using whatever resources she had. Life was hard—medical expenses, daily needs, and emotional struggles weighed heavily on her and her family.

They supported Suman by providing essential medicines, clothes, an advanced wheelchair, and help with other expenses. Their kindness restored not only her mobility but also her confidence. Ramesh was a hardworking middle-aged man who had spent his life earning an honest living to support his family.
